Milford-On-Sea Beach

This beach is a lengthy strip of sand and seashells that attracts swimmers and all beachgoers. The Isle of Wight and the famed Needles reach out in the English Channel from this vantage point on the Solent’s tip—it’s a spectacular marine vista.

Enjoy the 1-mile coastal trek to Hurst Castle if you feel energetic and want some peaceful time. This beach also features a charming park surrounded by Victorian buildings with a pleasant promenade. The Smugglers and Verveine Seafood Restaurant are two of the many bars and pubs in the area.

Burley

The Hampshire village of Burley is a renowned visitor destination and a must-see tourist spot. It’s a great place to visit because of the traditional rituals and communal atmosphere. While sipping a pint at the local pub, you can still observe ponies and cattle running freely about the village. There are plenty of antique stores, small art galleries, boutique apparel stores, and tearooms to discover.

A canoe lake is located just beyond the beach and is popular during the summertime. You can also participate in crazy golf. The D-Day Museum and the Blue Reef Aquarium are two famous attractions in Southsea, which is less than a mile from the ocean.

Highclere Castle

This is a 17th-century country house most famously known for being the iconic location of the television series Downton Abbey. Set on 5,000 acres of grounds developed by Capability Brown, the great landscape artist.

This magnificent manor has a colourful past. The castle served as a hospital for wounded soldiers during WWI and hosted British royals and foreign film sets.
